Conservative Women MPs

Interesting letter from English Female Conservative MP's in Times Online, with the female MPs taking issue with reports of their lack of representation. The letter outlines the role of women and their positions held.

Whilst female representation is lower than the representation of their male counterparts, it is not non-existent. More and more women are stepping up to take a role in the government of their country.

However, it should not be a token representation, which is offensive to all women. Female MPs want to attain their positions through their hard work and through due electoral process. Our views are important and our contribution is just as important.
